Mobile and remote online notarization for individuals, families, businesses, and legal professionals. Available on your schedule — including evenings and weekends.
Choose the service mode that fits your situation. All in-person appointments — whether you meet at a convenient location or a notary comes directly to you — fall under mobile notary service. For signers anywhere in the country, Remote Online Notarization (RON) is available with no travel required.
All in-person notarizations are mobile — there is no fixed office. Every scheduled appointment includes a travel fee, because I am traveling specifically for that booking regardless of where we meet. The only exception is pop-up notary events, where no per-client travel fee applies.
Notarize your documents from anywhere in the United States using your computer, tablet, or smartphone. Sessions are conducted via secure, state-approved platforms with live audio-visual technology and multi-factor identity verification. No travel. No waiting rooms.
Scheduling a notarization takes minutes. Here is what to expect from first contact to completed document.
Select mobile or remote and choose a time that fits — including evenings and weekends. For mobile, note whether you'd like to meet somewhere convenient or have the notary come to you.
Gather your document(s) and a valid photo ID. For RON sessions, upload your PDF via the secure link sent after booking. Arrange any required witnesses in advance.
Meet at your chosen location, receive the notary at your home or facility, or join a secure video session. Identity is verified, documents are signed, and the notarial seal is applied.
Receive your fully notarized documents — in hand, by mail, or delivered electronically — ready for submission to any institution, court, or agency.
I am Bridget Williams-Simmons, an active Maryland Notary Public serving Montgomery County and the surrounding region. My background is not typical for a notary — nearly two decades of experience in complex documentation management and regulatory oversight mean that precision and accuracy are professional habits, not aspirations.
Complex documents are my specialty. Whether you need a power of attorney signed carefully, a financial document handled with precision, or a time-sensitive document notarized remotely, you receive the same level of attention: thorough, accurate, and on your schedule.
Mobile notarization is currently available throughout Montgomery County, MD. Remote Online Notarization is available to signers anywhere in the United States — no travel required on either end.
Evening and weekend appointments available. Most bookings confirmed within one business day. For urgent or after-hours needs, please reach out directly by phone or email.
RON allows you to have documents notarized through a live, recorded audio-visual session conducted over the internet — no in-person meeting required. The notary verifies your identity using multi-factor methods, witnesses your signature on screen, and applies a tamper-evident digital seal and certificate. Maryland law authorizes RON and the resulting documents are legally valid.
Many common documents can be notarized via RON, including powers of attorney, affidavits, financial documents, and real estate documents. However, certain documents cannot be notarized remotely under Maryland law. Wills, for example, must be notarized in person and are not eligible for RON. If you are unsure whether your document qualifies for remote notarization, please contact me before booking and I will confirm.
You will need a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID such as a driver's license, state-issued ID card, or passport. For RON sessions, the platform will also conduct a knowledge-based authentication (KBA) check — a series of identity verification questions drawn from your public records — as an additional layer of verification. Make sure your ID is current and clearly readable.
Maryland sets statutory fee caps for notarial acts: $8 per notarial act for mobile (in-person) notarizations and $30 per notarial act for Remote Online Notarization. Each signer's signature on a document is a separate notarial act, so multi-signature documents are billed accordingly. A travel fee applies to all scheduled mobile appointments — whether we meet at a location of your choice or I travel directly to you. The travel fee is calculated and communicated to you before each appointment. No per-client travel fee applies at local pop-up notary events.
You will need a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a functioning camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, a valid government-issued photo ID, and your document in PDF format. A link to the secure RON platform session will be sent after booking. Most standard notarizations take 10–20 minutes from start to finish.
